Kelly Linaker is the Director of Myofascial and Sports Therapy in Melbourne and has worked across the health, sports, and education sectors for over twenty-five years. She holds a Master of Applied Science in Sports Studies, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Biophysics and Instrumentation, and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology, alongside qualifications in Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, and Sports Massage. This breadth of knowledge allows Kelly to bring a comprehensive and compassionate approach to working with pain, combining clinical expertise with evidence-based frameworks. Her career has spanned international elite sport, including roles as a Sports Scientist and Soigneur with the Australian, British, and Canadian cycling teams at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Championships. In addition to her clinical work, Kelly has lectured for over ten years across Advanced Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, and Sports Science programs. She is also a certified Yin Yoga Instructor, Level 2 Recreational Run Coach, and UESCA Ultrarunning Coach. Her personal experience as an endurance athlete competing in off-road triathlon (XTERRA), including seven World Championships, and ultra-trail running only deepens her understanding of the demands of training, injury, and recovery. Kelly’s clinical focus includes complex pain presentations, musculoskeletal injuries, and supporting athletes across a wide range of endurance and performance sports. Her primary areas of interest include fascia, pain, and movement, with a strong commitment to integrating contemporary pain science and a biopsychosocial lens into hands-on practice. With a career spanning clinical care, education, and high-performance sport, Kelly is dedicated to empowering clients and athletes to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore movement.

I was first introduced to Kinesiology tape in 2011 when working with the Canadian Cycling Team and they asked me to apply ‘Spidertech’. I was intrigued and then did a Rocktape course when it was available. I love applying my business colours in tape, I call it “Rocktape art”.
