The dust has settled on another NBL season. The Perth Wildcats continued their remarkable run and contested a 27th consecutive final series, and ultimately made another final series but unfortunately lost the Grand Final to the New Zealand Breakers.
The Wildcats are West Australia’s oldest professional sporting brand, celebrating their 30th year and Rocktape, being a proud West Australian business, were excited to “Stand Together” and be a part of the Red Army this season.
Rocktape assisted the players to get back on the court faster after injury, assisting the players’ rehabilitation, as well as helping keep their star players on court. Matt Knight, the Wildcats dominant big man, is one such player who has experienced the benefits of Rocktape this season. “I have had shoulder injuries in the past. This year I have found Rocktape to be great – providing me with support for my shoulder without restricting my movement.” Matt says. Matt was seen wearing Rocktape on his shoulders in both training and matches.
The Wildcats physiotherapist – David Philpott added “I use Rocktape at the clinic and at games. I find it is an excellent way to stabilise a joint while allowing functional movement. Rocktape adheres to the skin better than other elastic tapes, and my patients and players report that it is gentle on the skin. Rocktape has helped me keep players on the court, and allows players to train at full strength sooner after injury.”
