Rocktape are conducting its first Australian seminar in Perth on Saturday the 14th of August.
The Medical Director of Rocktape USA, Steven Capobianco, will conduct the seminar. As well as covering the fundamental kinesiology concepts he will introduce a new protocol he assisted to develop called Power Taping.
Power Taping is based on the obvious yet largely overlooked concept of muscles acting as a chain. Power Taping’s revolutionary technique utilizes “longitudinal anatomy”, or “movement patterns” concept, the body’s integration of movement via multi-muscle contractions as a means of connecting the brain to the body’s uninterrupted fascial web in order to enhance athletic training and performance via cutaneous (skin) stimulation.
The response has been very good with 22 attendees including interstate delegates and representatives from a number of high profile professional sporting organisations based here in Perth including the Perth Glory, Western Warriors, Western Force, Australian Women’s Volleyball and WAIS, as well as a number of lecturers from the Universities who conduct physiotherapy and chiropractic courses in Perth.
