Rocktape today announced a partnership with 2010 UCI Track World Champion Team Pursuit member and 2012 Olympic hopeful Ashlee Ankudinoff.
Ashlee Ankudinoff competes in track endurance cycling events and everyone at Rocktape is looking forward to supporting Ashlee as she attempts to firstly defend her World Championship, with fellow Rockstar – Sarah Kent, in the team pursuit in Netherlands in 2011, and then focusing on the 2012 Olympics.
“As a full time Australian Cyclist, my lower back disc and sciatic nerve problem meant I was finding it difficult to push through the pain to complete two sessions of training a day,” said Ashlee. “I was then introduced to Rocktape and it was able to completely remove the pain associated with my injuries. Rocktape has also enabled me to generate more power through my glutes, making me feel much stronger on the bike. From the results I have had, I would strongly recommend using Rocktape.”
In 2010, Ashlee racked up a series of impressive results:
- 1st Team Pursuit UCI Track World Championships Denmark
- 1st Omnium Australian Track Championships SA
- 2nd 3000m Individual Pursuit Australian Track Championships SA
- 3rd 10km Scratch Race Australian Track Championships SA
- 7th 25km Points Race Australian Track Championships SA
Ashlee Ankudinoff currently resides and trains in Menai, New South Wales, and is coached by Gary Sutton at the New South Wales Institute of Sport.
